What's the fuss about this 90-10 principle? ...

It's been a while that I have not been blogging....both here and my nosiness space...:) Been so pre-occupied with so many things....well in-short just been lazy ...lol!

Let me share with you my thoughts about this 90-10 principle...before you open and check the presentation it's all about how we react to something or to everything especially if we are in a difficult situation. Do we maintain our coolness? :)

This is just a remarkable principle to live by...I remember about a very similar situation, where in I thought of this 90-10 principle

One day, me and a friend decided to have a dinner and stopped by Olive Garden an Italian restaurant, not so fancy but not too casual. We're a bit hungry and also in a hurry to grab a bite. And we're greeted and seated by a very enthusiastic and very bubbly waitress. Isn't a nice feeling... here you are tired and hungry ....and here's somebody ... warmly and gladly assisting you...offered us and entertained us with their menu..help us order what's best ...offered us something to grab that will quickly fill our empty and angry stomach. :) I told my friend that this girl just love her work...and she totally agrees with me...along the way to make the story short..:) we learned that this girl has 5 kids and an additional 3 kids from her very sick sister...and that her part time job keeps her going and a time off from a very stressful day. :) (Well, that's if you react to things positively...you still have the energy to do other task. :))

It made me think ...that yes...it's really how we deal and react to any situation that we're in ...if this girl chooses to be stressed and dwelt too much on her stressful days...Geese! You think, she'll have this coolness energy and ..as bubbly as she is? :)

The way we react to things ...can really make or break our day. It's all up to us to think what is necessary or not necessary. If you don't want to spend on bottocks...:) Better, remember another this 90-10 principle. I hope I'll keep this principle in-mind. :) Many thanks to Anton07 YouTube for this presentation... and thanks for sharing... here's the video sharing this to all. :)

Busy days...means busyness or business?!

Let's see if my busyness is equal to business. Whatever it takes, busy for me is something to be thankful. :) Wondering why? ... if we have something to do, that means we're not idle or lazy. An opportunity for us to keep moving. But for some busy for them is just an excuse to something, like not calling a loved one, friend or a missed occasion. :) Let me recall how's my "busyness" for the past weeks. Had a great time in Ohio, what a long drive!, long drive is sometimes great if you're just the passenger lol! You have time to look around, think while napping ( how's is it possible? lol) well, it's possible for me...it's just like day dreaming! :). A time to appreciate the quietness of the green surroundings that we passed by and just merely a get away. My online course in Open Education is almost over. Collaborating with people around the globe with same interest is amazing. Exploring the many possibilities of this new learning culture. Defi...

A crave for Tsokolate eh ...!

The other day I was craving for a hot chocolate...well maybe because of the cold weather. But I was craving for not just a hot chocolate. I want something that I used to have back in the Philippines...we call it Tsokolate eh ... wait how are you going to pronounce it ...it should be like this cho-koh-la-teh-eh!...i put the exclamation so you have an accent on the eh!...:) It's a Filipino thick hot chocolate, very similar to the signature hot chocolate of Starbucks. But of course it's way cheaper than a Starbucks hot chocolate. :) Tsokolate eh! is made up of tabrilya (tab-rillia)it's a cacao balls. But it's basically from a cacao fruit. It comes in different shapes but rounded tabrilya is the most common. :) There's a traditional way of doing this ...like before they use a beater for this called "batidor", but I don't use that anymore I just let it boil and use a regular spoon to beat it.:) Simplier but of course it taste better if it's done the...

"Philippine Hospitality" is on TWB(Teacherswithoutborders)

Philippine Hospitality is one of the characteristic that stands out among Filipinos. This is a common trait that Filipinos are known for, especially to most foreigners who have traveled around the country. They will even go out of their way to ensure guest feels comfortable. I remember my mom would have a set of towels, blankets and other stuff prepared and reserved for visitors, given that we don't have much of those for us to use. But it is a primary and mandatory custom. Although we are not the only people in the world who can be friendly and welcoming, but this characteristic is exceptional among us. Actually, there's no country in Southeast Asia where foreigners are so well welcomed as in the Philippines . I know, Thailand , Japan or China are also hospitable, but remain distant. Compare to the Filipino hospitality where in our smile is not politely distant, it is spontaneous and from the heart. What really makes "Philippine Hospitality" exceptional? Here ...
