Super Bowl...!!!

I never been into this game, watched some kinda games like this in the movies. :) Now I know why it's a well watched game here in the US. Just like how Filipinos into basketball. Everything stops and all are glued in the TV watching.

I've enjoy watching, even if I was just learning how the game is played while watching,:) good thing they're all enthusiastic to tell me every rules and moves in the game. :)

We're all cheering up for the STEELERS but during the game you'll never missed to see the striking QB number 13 of Cardinals...:) So, I said my mind goes for the Steelers but my heart now goes to the Cardinals because of Kurt Warner. :)

It was really a breathtaking game and a nice game. Not only that, the commercials are just outrageous and some are really hilarious. Watching the game makes me scream and a bit nervous, :) what really entertained me were the different commercials.

Busy days...means busyness or business?!

Let's see if my busyness is equal to business. Whatever it takes, busy for me is something to be thankful. :) Wondering why? ... if we have something to do, that means we're not idle or lazy. An opportunity for us to keep moving. But for some busy for them is just an excuse to something, like not calling a loved one, friend or a missed occasion. :) Let me recall how's my "busyness" for the past weeks. Had a great time in Ohio, what a long drive!, long drive is sometimes great if you're just the passenger lol! You have time to look around, think while napping ( how's is it possible? lol) well, it's possible for me...it's just like day dreaming! :). A time to appreciate the quietness of the green surroundings that we passed by and just merely a get away. My online course in Open Education is almost over. Collaborating with people around the globe with same interest is amazing. Exploring the many possibilities of this new learning culture. Defi...

A crave for Tsokolate eh ...!

The other day I was craving for a hot chocolate...well maybe because of the cold weather. But I was craving for not just a hot chocolate. I want something that I used to have back in the Philippines...we call it Tsokolate eh ... wait how are you going to pronounce it ...it should be like this cho-koh-la-teh-eh!...i put the exclamation so you have an accent on the eh!...:) It's a Filipino thick hot chocolate, very similar to the signature hot chocolate of Starbucks. But of course it's way cheaper than a Starbucks hot chocolate. :) Tsokolate eh! is made up of tabrilya (tab-rillia)it's a cacao balls. But it's basically from a cacao fruit. It comes in different shapes but rounded tabrilya is the most common. :) There's a traditional way of doing this ...like before they use a beater for this called "batidor", but I don't use that anymore I just let it boil and use a regular spoon to beat it.:) Simplier but of course it taste better if it's done the...

"Philippine Hospitality" is on TWB(Teacherswithoutborders)

Philippine Hospitality is one of the characteristic that stands out among Filipinos. This is a common trait that Filipinos are known for, especially to most foreigners who have traveled around the country. They will even go out of their way to ensure guest feels comfortable. I remember my mom would have a set of towels, blankets and other stuff prepared and reserved for visitors, given that we don't have much of those for us to use. But it is a primary and mandatory custom. Although we are not the only people in the world who can be friendly and welcoming, but this characteristic is exceptional among us. Actually, there's no country in Southeast Asia where foreigners are so well welcomed as in the Philippines . I know, Thailand , Japan or China are also hospitable, but remain distant. Compare to the Filipino hospitality where in our smile is not politely distant, it is spontaneous and from the heart. What really makes "Philippine Hospitality" exceptional? Here ...
