Everyone knows Los Angeles, even those people who haven’t really visited this place, like in my case it’s my first time here, but it seems to me that I’m most likely familiar with some of the most talked about places here. These are all contributed to the industries around this city, which includes movie and television companies, that makes it well-known everywhere for very obvious reason. IT hubs are also around here. Like, most of the outsourced projects that we got from the Philippines are coming from different companies here, like my previous company.
But, I was so amazed to see lots of immigrants here aside from Mexicans of course. Before I’ve heard that there’s a lot of Filipinos but it seems that Koreans are now around the place. But, it’s nice I feel like I’m just around Manila.
What really impressed me here is the transportation. I can go everywhere from North to South, well aside of course that I just live near Downtown area. They have DASH to tour you around Downtown area, also the different buses that goes around the different areas of the city and the metro trail which help me commute from Downtown LA to Orange County, for me that’s amazing since I’m just touring the place, I don’t have my own chauffeur and car. :) By the way if you're commuting the LA metro website is really great I used it a lot especially the trip planner. :)
They have great restaurants too, I remember a friend of mine, we went to this authentic Greek Restaurant papa cristo , and fortunately when we visited they have this traditional Greek dining…long tables are set, where everybody sits, wine tasting are also available, while great Greek food is being serve.
Here are some of the pictures. (Sssh I’m a trying hard photographer) . Hmm but it’s really tempting to get a very nice camera though and enroll photography.
Famous California mountain slope...
Disney Concert Hall...
LA court house...this is where my friend works...
Oh, I love this "Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral" huge cathedral.
Along Downtown LA..going to Flower market and China town.
Of course the famous Universal City ..you never been to LA if you haven't been into this place, I guess...but I want to go back there...
Oh, no!...this is not Hillary Swank....! :)
See you on my 3rd stop...:)
